Welcome to the California Association of Compensatory Education |
The California Association of Compensatory Education is an organization that educates parents and teachers about the NCLB Title I law that infuses money into schools in socio-economically disadvantaged areas to "level up" the opportunities for our children to be educated. We do this through both local and state conferences. We also offer a limited number of scholarships to children who have been a student in a Title I school. CACE holds an annual essay contest for children in Title I schools as well. The winners of this contest are awarded plaques and book store gift cards. Fro more about who we are and what we do please visit the "What is CACE?" page or contact us for further information. You may also contact us about holding a mini-conference in your school district. |

Make sure to save the date for our State Conference to be held in Foster City at the Crowne Plaza Hotel March 9, 10 & 11 2007 |
A note from your webmaster: Once again we are going through big changes on your website. We are going to change the software we are using to design the website and have a committee working together to make it a better resource for you. Please feel free to contact me, Bob Van Tuinen, if you have any comments or suggestions. |
